Senior Salesforce Analyst

This position for employment will be based out of Shift’s Toronto office at 404/Steeles with general office hours from 9:30am-5:30pm, with some remote flexibility and travel required.  Candidates outside of the Toronto/GTA area will be considered and will need to be comfortable working remotely.

As Senior Salesforce Analyst, you will be part of a collaborative project team, working as a key member to drive the successful implementation of Salesforce CRM for our clients.  

In this role you will: 

  • Follow Scrum Methodology to successfully deliver client engagements
    • Support (Lead portions of) client conversations to identify Epics and User Stories
    • Support (Lead portions of) efforts to create and document Client Backlog
    • Support efforts in working with Product Owner to prioritize and identify Sprint Backlog
    • Support team through solution design efforts
    • Support (Lead portions of) Sprint Reviews with client and stakeholders
  • Lead build efforts on the declarative prototype of a client’s Salesforce instance, including the development of custom fields, custom objects, workflow rules, process builder, salesforce flow, email templates, validation rules, page layouts, reports and dashboards.
  • Build complex declarative solutions inline with best practices 
  • Support the Quality Assurance process for a specific project, including the documentation of test cases based on documented requirements, the execution of test cases, and the documentation of test case execution results
  • Support the effort to prepare materials for end user and administrator training, including the creation of end user training videos as applicable
  • Participate in or lead end user and and administrative training
  • Escalate to the Consultant/Sr. Consultant as required to communicate bandwidth constraints or other challenges as they arise

In order to qualify you must have the following essential qualities and experiences:

    • Working knowledge of business process and custom Salesforce solutions
    • Ability to participate in and directly implement Salesforce solutions customized to client business processes
    • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a constantly changing work environment with an emphasis on attention to detail
    • Experience working on delivering Salesforce Projects with the knowledge and ability to perform Salesforce Administrative functions: 
      • Solution Design
      • Manage users, data, and security
      • Maintain and customize Sales Cloud and Service Cloud applications
      • Build reports, dashboards, and workflows
    • Escalate to the individual Project Manager and/or Consultant within the project as required to communicate bandwidth constraints or other challenges as they arise
    • Acquire in depth knowledge of Shift IP, including use cases and best practices within the first 6 months of employment 
  • A self-starter, demonstrating self-confidence, enthusiasm, and the ambition to succeed within a fast-paced work environment
  • Proficiency in the use of Internet/Web-based applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs Suite. 
  • Experience working with Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
  • Obtain within the first 6 months the following certifications: Certified Salesforce.com Administrator (ADM201), Certified Salesforce.com App Builder and Certified Salesforce.com Sales Cloud Consultant 
  • Additional nice to have certifications include Salesforce Certified Pardot Specialist, Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Certified Einstein Analytics and Discovery Consultant, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist,Marketing Cloud Administrator, Salesforce Certified Community Cloud Consultant and Scrum Master certification

It would be an added bonus if you also had the following:

  • Experience with Project Management methodologies
  • Experience with other CRM applications
  • Experience with Web based Applications
