Senior Salesforce Consultant (Communities, CPQ, Marketing Cloud) – Toronto

This position for employment will be based out of Shift’s Toronto office at 404/Steeles with general office hours from 9:00am-5:30pm, with some flexibility and travel required.

As a Salesforce Consultant, you will be part of a collaborative project team, working as a key member to drive the successful implementation of Salesforce CRM for our clients.

In this role you will:

  • Lead business requirements gathering sessions for medium to high-complexity projects to capture a client’s business requirements and project scope
  • Lead the effort to document business requirements based on Business Process Mapping sessions to capture a client’s business requirements and project scope
  • Lead the effort to translate and document business requirements into a solution design for medium to high-complexity projects, including data model documentation
  • Lead the effort to document end user training and administrator training documents, including the creation of end user training videos
  • Provide internal sign-off on the prototype prior to UAT and Go-Live based on alignment to requirements and best practices, including both declarative and custom development and the configuration of Shift’s Baseline Configuration checklist
  • Lead the Quality Assurance process for a specific project, including the
    documentation of test cases based on documented requirements, the execution of test cases, the documentation of test case execution results, and the review of test case results from other team members
  • Lead the scoping, design, prototyping, user testing, user testing refinement and training phases of Salesforce implementations
  • Escalate to the Project Manager and/or Sr. Consultant as required to
    communicate bandwidth constraints or other challenges as they arise
  • Acquire the Certified Salesforce.com Administrator (ADM201), App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant and Service Cloud Consultant certifications within the first 8 months of employment at Shift, if not previously acquired

In order to qualify you must have the following essential skills and experiences:

    • Experience as a Salesforce user or administrator with the knowledge and ability to perform simple Salesforce Administrative functions:
      •  Manage users, data, and security
      • Maintain and customize Sales Cloud and Service Cloud applications
      •  Build reports, dashboards, and workflows
    • A self-starter, demonstrating self-confidence, enthusiasm, and the ambition to
      succeed within a fast-paced work environment
    • Proficiency in the use of Internet/Web-based applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs Suite)
    • Ability to quickly understand and communicate technical issues, demonstrating the ability to pro-actively investigate and resolve customer issues
    • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a constantly changing work
      environment with an emphasis on attention to detail

It would be an added bonus if you also had the following:

  •  Experience with Project Management methodologies
  • Experience with other CRM applications
  • Experience with Web based Applications
  • Experience working with Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
